It's an extra long weekend – hurrah! Here are some ways you can celebrate the uniting of the seven emirates in true Dubai style

LED show
Monday 2nd December
Festival City is set to put a large celebration including two huge firework displays and a new LED show. There will be a live band playing from 3pm-9pm daily throughout the holiday (Friday 29th until Tuesday 3rd). While the main firework displays will take place on December 2ndat 8pm and 10pm.
Fireworks
The festivities take to the sky with dazzling displays put across Dubai to mark the date. A city that does nothing by halves, you can expect a riveting show with flashes of red, white and green lighting up the night.
1st & 2nd December:

Celebrations at Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain
Sunday 1st to Tuesday 3rd December
In celebration of UAE National Day, the Burj Khalifa will stage a special LED light show and The Dubai Fountain will be aglow with special shows daily at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. Plus, throughout the weekend Dubai Mall will be giving away scarves and magnets to commemorate the event.

Pool day
Friday 29th November to Monday 3rd December
If you left it too late to book a holiday, fret not as you can escape to the ‘Mediterranean’ with a day by the pool at Bvlgari Yacht Club. The waterside dwelling is reminiscent of the Italian Riviera in design and serves up cuisine to match. Cultural celebrations
Sunday 1st December
Head to The Courtyard at Al Manzil Downtown for traditional merriments on Sunday. There will be complimentary traditional sweets along with delicious Arabian drinks for you to enjoy. The celebrations begin at 10am and go on until 4pm.

UAE themed food
To mark the country wide celebrations, popular American chain Black Tap have released a limited edition ‘Crazy Shake’ which has been inspired by the four colours of the country’s flag. The limited-edition shake is a vanilla-flavored and is available across all of Black Tap’s Dubai and Abu Dhabi venues between November 30th and December 2nd.
