Ice skating by the beach

JBR is getting in the festive spirit the winter edition of #WOWJBR – a carnival style event that takes over the strip. In true Dubai style, not put off by the warm weather, there will be a giant igloo and ice-skating rink (yes that’s right, a fully-fledged ice rink beside the sea). Capturing the holiday mood there will be festive themed characters making their way up The Walk along with many prizes to be won from the ‘North Pole’ by listening out for a ringing phone. A family-friendly affair, head down there tonight to be one of the first to experience the fun.6.30pm onwards and on each weekend until December 27th.
