DJ by the beach

Get your Thursday started with Dubai’s favourite DJ, Dany Neville who is doing a live set at new beach bar venue, The Bungalow. What’s more there’s free sangria for the ladies and discounted buckets of hops all night. Situated by the popular La Mer development and inside Laguna Waterpark there’s a relaxed feel here evident from the surfer style interiors to the beach shack grub. 5pm ‘til late, +971 54 994 7970

Theme Park

Got the kids in tow? Head to Global Village for a family-friendly evening of culture, shopping and entertainment. Taking guests on a journey around the world in one fell swoop, this popular theme park has more than 30 pavilions representing the cultures of over 75 countries. Browse the artisan buys and sample the local fare before braving the thrilling theme park rides and catching a musical performance on the main stage. Entry from AED15, 4pm-11.30pm.

Seventyseventy

Soulful sessions

If you’re in the mood for an upmarket evening, don’t miss the vinyl sessions at Seventyseventy tonight. Their new Thursday evening event is dedicated to a love of music (played on vinyl – if that wasn’t obvious) so you can expect a great soundtrack here. From jazz to soul, DJ Tarik Omar will take care of the records tonight while you unwind with a drink in hand.
