Dubai’s favourite music festival is back for its seventh edition. RedFestDXB brings with it a solid line-up of artists. Tonight, star of The Voice – Becky Hill will get the crowd going for cheat Codes and Noah Cyrus. Machine Gun Kelly will be on from 8.45pm warming the stage before headline act Stormzy makes his Dubai debut. The King of Grime (sorry Wiley) will be performing a 90-minute set before Dubai’s homegrown DJ, Dany Neville concludes the night with a DJ set. Tickets for today start from Dhs395, 4pm onwards.
Calling all book worms
Bringing a love of the written word to Dubai, the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature gathers (at InterContinental Festival City) authors from all over the world in celebration of great prose. The 12th edition of the event, comes to a conclusion tomorrow. Today, Dubai Eye presenter and author of ‘Not Bad People’ Brandy Scott talks audiences through achieving ‘Writing Success’ from 10-11am (Dhs59). While Sir Ranulph Fiennes talks through his achievement as the world’s greatest living explorer from 12-1pm (Dhs59).
