See a Picasso

Art-buffs will do well to get down to Custot Gallery in order to catch their Tales of Thread exhibition which began this month. Celebrating textile art, the gallery is hosting 28 limited edition tapestries, carpets and textile works by 18 renowned artists including Pablo Picasso and Robert Delaunay. Ladies’ night

If, like Camilla Cabello you love it when he calls you señorita you won’t want to miss the Señoritas’ ladies’ night at Casa de Tapas tonight. The Spanish restaurant at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht club offers free-flowing sangria all night for the ladies along with their regular line-up of traditional dishes such as paella de fiedua which is made with shrimp and squid ink. As the terrace doors are thrown open at Carine (Emirates Golf Club’s French Med restaurant) their seasonal menu looks set to tantalise. Introducing new dishes to the menu such as Coquilles Saint-Jacques avec vinaigrette (Fresh scallops with clementine dressing), Tartare de boeuf (Beef tartare) and Carpaccio de thon bleu (Cured Blue fin tuna carpaccio).
